Hmm.. "My family name is not Adams, it is Adama" ... I'd noticed recently that the name 'Adama' is very much related to 'Adam' and that could be partial symbolic background to the Adama family in Battlestar Galactica.
Anyway the trailer presents the drama as a family who has "lost" a daughter, and they go to extreme ends to bring that daughter back to "life" presumably through creating skin job Cylons.
Uh..? If these are the forbears of the Adama family being shown in Battlestar Galactica, then why do they not know of their background? In Razor the initial skin R&D lab was shown as existing at the end of the prior Cylon war (40 years before present). 40 years is well within familial history. And why would 'Husker' land on this planet where a skin job R&D facility was running if it was his own family who invented skin jobs?
They have some explaining to do here. At the moment from what I see in this trailer, Caprica City will have nothing to do with Battlestar Galactica.
